After graduating from the University of Toronto in 1976 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics, I entered the financial services industry with a major Canadian insurer in various roles as a manger, broker and agent. I have been recognized for writing many articles and speaking at seminars on tax, estate and retirement planning.
I am a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a member of the Financial Planners Standards Council of Canada (FPSC). To become a CFP requires the successful completion of courses in investment, retirement and estate planning. In addition to many years of study, the designation requires the completion of an ongoing continuing education program ensuring state of the art skills. The requirements also include strict adherence to a Code of Ethics, designed to make sure that my clients’ interests are my first priority.
As an investment funds advisor, I recommend only top quality products and services offered by the most solid and reputable financial companies and money managers. My mission is to enable you to achieve your long term financial goals utilizing wealth creation and protection strategies to ensure that you receive optimal returns with minimal investment risk. I offer a “holistic” approach to financial planning, money management and asset allocation.
Information is not wisdom! We live in an era of information overload with instant access to a myriad of “facts”, figures, charts, graphs, spread sheets and quite often conflicting opinions. My many years of experience will assist you in filtering out the “noise” to obtain the most valid and reliable information for you to make the most prudent planning choices.
